Apside, the joint venture dedicated to investments in high-potential digital startups, formed by Intesa Sanpaolo and Zest S.p.A., has invested in the PropTech startup Hubique, with a dedicated capital increase.
Founded in 2022 and controlled by the FG INVEST holding company of entrepreneur Alessandro Gatti, Hubique aims to provide advanced technological tools to optimize every technical, experiential, and communicative aspect of real estate. By leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI), virtual and augmented reality, and the Hub Agency app, Hubique streamlines outdated and complex processes in real estate transactions, allowing clients to visualize the final appearance of a property before it is even built or renovated.
With this investment round, Apside acquires a 5% stake in Hubique. The capital increase will allow the startup to grow by further expanding the use of AI within the PropTech space and laying the groundwork for future international expansion.
Technological Innovation Driving Hubique’s Growth
“The entry of Apside, alongside existing shareholder Zest S.p.A., the only Italian entity of European scale dedicated to fostering the innovation ecosystem, represents a significant recognition of Hubique’s commitment to the digitalization of a sector that is crucial to the country’s GDP, such as real estate,” commented Alessandro Gatti, Founder of Hubique. “Having the support and trust of such a prestigious entity opens up exciting growth prospects for our startup, not just in Italy, but internationally.”
Stefano Nicotra, CEO of Hubique, added, “We are continuously working to modernize processes, understand, and solve the technical and communication challenges faced by real estate professionals, through the innovative tools offered by AI and new technologies. Our approach is meant to be proactive and revolutionary for the sector, paving the way for a profound transformation in how we choose, communicate, and market properties. Receiving Apside’s support is a powerful validation of our forward-thinking vision.”

"New technologies like AI and augmented reality are transforming real estate by improving operational efficiency and enhancing the customer experience. Hubique, by combining technological innovation with real estate, aims to capitalize on this development. We are thrilled to contribute further to the growth of one of the most exciting PropTech companies in Italy," said Gabriele Ronchini, Vice President of the Apside Investment Committee and CEO of Zest Investments.
