Domethics, Innovative SME in the IoT Sector, Closes a €725,000 Funding Round for New Solutions in PropTech and Senior Living

Domethics, a Piedmont-based innovative SME specializing in the development of IoT products and services for the PropTech and Senior Living sectors, announces the closing of a €725,000 funding round.

CDP Venture Capital reaffirms its trust in the company’s future impact and growth with a follow-on investment from Habismart, the PropTech accelerator of the National Accelerator Network, in which Domethics was selected for the program’s first edition. The round also includes participation from the Fondo Rilancio Startup and a co-investment from the Piemonte Next fund, established and managed by CDP Venture Capital Sgr, with backing from the regional financial institution FinPiemonte, aimed at maximizing innovation investments in the region.

We are excited to have been selected and supported by CDP Venture Capital,” says Samuele Rocca, CEO of Domethics. “This investment will provide the necessary momentum to consolidate our products, develop new technologies, and, most importantly, approach new markets, especially those focused on Silver Age.”

Innovative Products Gaining International Recognition

Founded in 2018, Domethics has made its mark internationally, winning two Innovation Awards at CES Las Vegas, the world’s largest consumer electronics trade show, in both 2022 and 2024. The company earned the awards for its products: Adriano, a device that gives new life to unused smartphones and tablets by transforming them into smart-home gateways, and Carepet, a smart pet mat that monitors the vital signs and health of pets. This second award solidifies Domethics as the only Italian startup to win the Innovation Award twice, underscoring its commitment to innovation and quality.

Strategic Investment for Growth and Market Expansion

The funds raised will be invested in refining products dedicated to Silver Age, aiming to offer solutions that enhance the quality of life for elderly people by increasing their autonomy, combating loneliness, and providing peace of mind to their families through effective, continuous monitoring. In the PropTech sector, the investment will support the development of new features for Domethics' solutions, further strengthening the company’s value proposition.

To consolidate its presence in Italy and expand into Europe, Domethics is initially targeting Spain, setting the foundation for sustained growth and attracting additional investors. “This investment gives us the push to grow faster and accelerate our expansion into Europe,” adds Rocca.
