In accordance with the European legislation on the protection of personal data (Art.13, European Regulation 2016/679), the Data Subject acknowledges that the Zest Group (defined below) is committed to processing your personal data in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness and transparency and protection of confidentiality. Therefore, the Data Subject is informed that:
A. CATEGORIES OF DATA: The subject of processing may be your identifying data such as biographical data and contact details.

C. SOURCE OF PERSONAL DATA: The personal data in the possession of the Joint Controllers are collected directly from the data subject.
D. PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS: The processing of your data, collected and stored in connection with the completion of this form, has as its legal basis your consent and is carried out for the following purposes:
- To keep newsletter subscribers updated on website developments and new products and/or other services offered by Zest Group companies;
- Monitor member interest in order to improve the focus of updates;
- Share articles and news related and/or otherwise connected to Zest Group activities.
E. RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA: To the extent pertinent to the processing purposes indicated and/or any requests by the Data Subject, your data may be disclosed to the Data Processors and to consulting firms and collaborators, in their capacity as Data Processors. Your data will in no way be subject to public dissemination.
F. PERIOD OF STORAGE: The data collected will be retained for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which they are processed ("principle of limitation of storage," Art.5, GDPR) or according to the deadlines stipulated by legal regulations. Verification of the obsolescence of retained data in relation to the purposes for which they were collected is carried out periodically. It is understood that statutory deadlines depend on Italian national legislation.
G. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT: The data subject always has the right to request from the Joint Controllers access to his/her data, rectification or erasure of data, restriction of processing or the possibility to object to processing, to request data portability, to withdraw consent to processing by asserting these and other rights under the GDPR by simple communication to the Joint Controllers. The data subject may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
H. OBLIGATION OR LESS OF CONSENT: We inform you that the provision of data is free and optional with regard to this processing.
I. TRANSFER OF DATA TO A THIRD COUNTRY: The Joint Controllers shares some of the data collected with services located outside the European Union area. In particular, this is done through the service performed by third-party providers.
J. METHODS OF DATA PROCESSING: The personal data you provide, will be subject to processing operations in compliance with the above-mentioned legislation and the obligations of confidentiality that inspire the activities of the Joint Controllers. The data will be processed with computer tools and on any other suitable medium, in compliance with the appropriate security measures under the GDPR.
